ABOUT TASTE OF CALGARY

This is the 15th annual Taste of Calgary, an international food and beverage sampling festival. We have about 26 restaurants and 16 beverage companies that serve sample sizes of their menu items. We also offer live entertainment on the Main Stage throughout the festival.

Visitors to the festival purchase Taste Tickets for $1 each and use the tickets to purchase sample size menu items from the restaurant and beverage exhibitors. All menu items are 5 tickets or less. There are three ticket booths on the site – one near Joey Tomatoes, one near the Barley Mill/1886 Café and one near the Daycare.

VOLUNTEERING AT TASTE

When you arrive, check in at the “Tastemobile” ticket booth (It’s an old refurbished motor home) located on Barclay Parade at the North end of the plaza. We’ll give you a t-shirt and instructions on your role. Some other details include:

  • T-Shirts – You will get a t-shirt that you must wear while you are working. If you work more than one shift, please remember to wear your shirt. If you spend any personal time in the beverage area you must remove your Taste t-shirt

  • Food and Drinks – each volunteer receives 2 Taste tickets per hour of volunteering to try some of the foods and drinks in the show. See your supervisor for ticket distribution,
