Where
in the world are you eating tonight?
Taste
of Calgary, the city's outdoor festival of international food and drinks is back
for it's 15th year @ eau claire's festival plaza. Indulge in
a mix of exotic global cuisine's like Cajun, Caribbean, East Indian,
and Persian; all represented by over forty of the Calgarys
most unique restaurants and beverage companies.
Purchase
Taste sampling tickets for $1.00 each right at the event and use
them to sample any of the food or beverage menu items at the festival.
Everything is sample-sized, including the prices. Admission to the
festival is free and includes a taste of Calgarys incredible
local entertainers - live on the Main Stage.
Size
up your appetite with some zesty zing and seek out something new
. . . Kashk-e-Bademjan, Pakoras, or Thai Pineapple Curry. And, if youre
looking for something more familiar, theres plenty of pizzazz
in the infamous colossal BBQ Beef Ribs, Mushroom Glazed Meatballs and Stuffed Baby Yorkies. Then, wash it all down with sample
size sippers that include one of over 20 craft beers, Pink Lemonade
Margarita and or a Soho Original Mojitio.
And
this year, watch for the new Two-Ticket Taster - where every restaurant
serves at least one menu item for two tickets or less.
Taste
of Calgary isnt just about food anymore. Check out a mix of
interactive activities and local artisans throughout the festival. Visit a variety of artisans, entrepreneurs, and interactive actifities to add to the fun of the festival. Check out Ford's Fun Zone, make sandwiches with the kids at Hellman's, and do some shopping - located all throughout the festival.
